In 1999, surviving Swiss relatives of Anne and Margot Frank erected this headstone at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, in northern Germany. Anne Frank is perhaps the most well-known victim of the Holocaust due to her father's publication of her diary after the war called "The Diary of Anne Frank." The memoir is the most widely read book about the Holocaust.
