Old Camp, New Subdivision -- Flossenbürg

The Flossenbürg concentration camp gate now sits next to a middle-class subdivision, which was built inside the old camp boundaries. This is among many camps where developments have taken over former Nazi facilities. The most extreme example is at the old subcamp of Gusen, in Austria, where homes literally sit next to a Nazi crematorium and memorial.
