At the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the medical pathology room was located on the first floor, above a cellar that was crammed to the ceiling with dead bodies. Nazi doctors performed criminal experiments using mustard gas and lethal infections with streptococcus, gangrene, and tetanus on live subjects.
