Sobibor Death Camp

A sign at the Sobibor death camp in eastern Poland is one of the few displays one finds at this largely empty and small complex. During its operations from 1942-1943, about 250,000 mostly Jewish prisoners were immediately murdered by carbon monoxide gassing after arriving by rail.
