Odds, Ends, and Assorted Beauty

One day, you can be hiking in the Kenai and stumble upon a lama-packing expedition. Another day you can be snowshoeing at an old mining camp in the winter, where rusting snow-covered metal junk can become touching scenes of beauty. A ferry arriving in a harbor will stir one's love of travel. Such events are nearly everyday occurrences in Alaska, and I really enjoy the surprises.
